Joshua Martin is a civil litigator and the sole proprietor of the Law Offices of Joshua W. Martin. His practice focuses on helping individuals and businesses in civil litigation matters, representing individuals and families in family law matters (including divorce), and representing accident victims in personal injury matters. Josh most recently practiced with the law firm of Sinsheimer Juhnke McIvor & Stroh (formerly Sinsheimer Schiebelhut & Baggett) where he tried several civil cases to judgment and prevailed in each of them. He has also successfully argued several motions in both state and federal court and successfully represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and in appellate matters. His accomplishments include obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a client in five separate real estate lawsuits involving commercial real estate valued in excess of $4 million, obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a client in a dispute over assets exceeding $1.5 million, and obtaining a trial judgment in a dispute involving assets valued at over $2 million.
Josh served as Chairperson of the Young Lawyers Section of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association and currently serves as a Director for the Arroyo Grande and Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce. Josh was recognized as one of the rising stars and leaders in the San Luis Obispo County business community by the San Luis Obispo Tribune (20 under 40) and the Pacific Coast Business Times (40 under 40). Prior to passing the bar, Josh served as an Editor of the Law Review at the University of Utah.
Josh lives in Grover Beach, California, with his wife, Bonnie Jo, and their two boys, Max and Charlie.
