Woodward, Nathan P.

Nathan Woodward joined McDonald, Woodward & Carlson in 2011.  Nate has experience representing clients in a variety of matters, including personal injury, automobile accidents, workers compensation, business and contractual disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and wrongful death.  He is licensed in Iowa and Illinois, and is a member of the Iowa Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Scott County Bar Association.

Nate received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  While in law school, Nate served as a research assistant to Professors Irina Manta and Robert Wagner, and his research contributions were acknowledged in three published law review articles.  In addition Nate earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achievement in Trademark Law and Intellectual Property Survey, and won the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law for the Class of 2011.  Nate is a native of the Quad Cities and a graduate from Bettendorf High School.
