Drew derives satisfaction from meeting problems head on, and coming up with creative, efficient, and effective solutions for his clients. Drew's areas of practice include business litigation, construction law, insurance disputes, and construction litigation, and he has also represented individuals and families in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Much of Drew's practice is focused on the construction industry, where he has assisted numerous clients with both prosecuting and defending construction and payment related disputes. He has handled state and federal court cases in several states, including Missouri and Kansas, as well as several commercial and construction arbitration proceedings.
Drew has presented to attorneys and construction professionals on areas related to construction law in Missouri and Kansas, including such topics as construction design defects, payment related issues, and state prompt payment laws.
Drew obtained his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago, where he captained the wrestling team and was an Academic All-American. The discipline and work ethic instilled in Drew as a student-athlete provide the bedrock of his daily practice. He obtained his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he also interned with the chief federal magistrate judge in the Eastern District of Missouri.
Drew is a native of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and two daughters.
