Thomas "Max" Witcher was an Honor graduate of Bremen High School in 1968, and graduated from West Georgia College in 1972, with a BBA in Marketing/Management, followed by a BBA in Accounting, in 1973. He graduated with Honors from West Georgia College, with a Masters in Business Administration in 1975. Max continued his education and graduated with Honors from John Marshall Law School in 1977. Mr. Witcher was admitted to the Georgia Bar in November 1979, and practiced law for over 32 years as a sole practitioner in Bremen, Georgia. In June of 2012, he merged his firm with his brother, Jack Witcher.
Mr. Witcher's main areas of practice are comprised of Real Estate, Social Security, Corporate Law, Wills and Probate, and Contract Law. With the majority of his practice being Real Estate, he has performed title searches, had the appropriate closing documents prepared, and closed residential and commercial loans for private individuals and businesses ranging from $5,000 to $11,000,000. He has worked with banks, mortgage companies, realtors and private individuals, including, but not limited to: AgSouth Farm Credit, Bank of America, Bank of North Georgia, Branch Bank & Trust, Chase Manhattan, Certus Bank, Citibank, Columbus Bank & Trust Company, Community & Southern Bank, Delta Credit Union, Federal Land Bank, First Georgia Banking Company, Peoples Community National Bank, Regions Bank, Service Link, Sun Trust Bank, Triad, Wells Fargo Bank, and many others.
