Christina Mark joined Block O'Toole & Murphy, LLP as an associate in September, 2011 after demonstrating exceptionally strong legal research and writing skills, an industrious work ethic, and a heartfelt dedication to fighting for clients' rights as a legal intern for the firm the previous summer.
Ms. Mark received a bachelor's degree in Journalism from New York University and worked as a writer and reporter in New York City prior to earning her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2011. At Notre Dame, Ms. Mark received accolades for her brief-writing skills and was appointed Executive Articles Editor of the law school's prestigious Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. Ms. Mark was also a devoted advocate for the clients she represented at the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mark served as an intern in the chambers of the Honorable Joan O'Dwyer of New York Supreme Court, Queens County and as an Appeals Bureau intern for the Nassau County District Attorney. Ms. Mark is already heavily relied upon by the firm to research and brief critical issues in a number of substantial pending trial and appellate cases. Ms. Mark possesses unusually superior skills and instincts for a young attorney just out of law school, and those attributes will serve the firm and its clients very well in the months and years to come.
