Samantha Winter joined Bordas & Bordas in the fall of 2011.  Before joining the firm, Samantha attended high school and college in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.  She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School
Education:

Samantha graduated in 2004 from Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix Arizona. She then attended the Honors College at Arizona State University (http://barretthonors.asu.edu/) as a Flinn Scholar (http://www.flinn.org/press-room/flinn-scholars-facts).  She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Barrett with concurrent degrees in English Literature, Spanish and History. While at ASU, she was named as one of four Outstanding All Campus Graduates in 2008.  She spent her second year of law school studying at the Concannon Programme of International Law at the Notre Dame London Law Center (http://law.nd.edu/academic-programs/jd-study-in-london/second-year-in london/). Samantha has also studied in both Romania and Peru, and she has worked as a project manager for the former Ambassador to Finland and senior advisor to the United States.

She is the fourth graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School (http://law.nd.edu/) at the firm, joining Jamie Bordas, Chris Regan, and Geoff Brown.  Before graduating in 2011, she served as a research assistant to Torts Professor Vincent R. Johnson, served as an intern in the Cass County, Michigan prosecuting attorney’s office, and served as a legal intern with Withers LLP in London, England while spending a year studying law from both European and American professors
Community:
Samantha is an Arizona native, and moved to Wheeling in the fall of 2011. She currently lives in Woodsdale where she attends St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.   Samantha is also an accomplished singer.  She served as the National Anthem singer at Oakland Athletics spring training games in Phoenix, Arizona in 2005 and 2006
