Wolfe, Brian

Jo Markison practices in Maslon's Litigation Group. She represents business entities and individuals in complex commercial litigation in the areas of non-compete, trade secret and unfair competition litigation, intellectual property litigation, and general business litigation. Jo has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multiple state and federal court jurisdictions, including courts in Minnesota, Maryland, Kentucky, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Jo graduated summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2006. During law school, she authored a note on Minnesota's 2004 proposed same-sex marriage amendment. Jo graduated magna cum laude from the College of St. Benedict in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in French. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Jo worked as a counselor for Eckerd Youth Alternatives and as a foster care and child protection case aide for Scott County, Minnesota.
