Lee Winkelman's labor and employment practice focuses on noncompetition, trade secret, and confidentiality issues related to current and departing employees and also includes litigation and counseling related to a wide variety of other workplace-related issues. He has litigated cases nationwide pending in state and federal courts, before arbitration panels, and before federal and state agencies involving illegal employment discrimination under state and federal law; violations of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA); the Fair Labor Standards Act (wage and hour) (FLSA); the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA); Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower claims; breach of contract claims; and employment-related torts. In addition, Lee has counseled employers regarding FMLA, drug testing, and antidiscrimination policies and employer obligations under FLSA, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and other workplace-related state and federal laws and regulations.
