Lisa K. Manfreda was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2009. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. in 2006. She received her B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland in 2002.
Lisa began her career at Fait, Wise & DiLima, LLP as a legal assistant and law clerk gaining practical, hands-on legal experience while attending law school at night. Lisa is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, and Maryland State Bar Association. She has completed the Best Interest Attorney training necessary to represent children in contested custody cases.
During law school Lisa represented victims of domestic violence in the District of Columbia as part of the Domestic Violence Clinic and received the …..Award for Outstanding Clinical Practice. Lisa has also represented children in the child welfare system through her volunteer work with the C.A.S.A. program of Montgomery County. Lisa currently volunteers as a peer counselor for grieving mothers through Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
When Lisa is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
