James M. Maloy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, at the University of Pittsburgh, and later earned his Juris Doctor degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence. Mr. Maloy has practiced law in the State of New York for more than twenty-five years. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. Although the primary focus of his practice over his career involves the representation of personal injury plaintiffs, Mr. Maloy's twenty-eight years of practice includes experience handling estates, real estate, business and bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Maloy is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and its Negligence, Elder Law and Practice & Procedure in Surrogate's Court Committees.
