Ed, a Greencastle native, has practiced law for over 34 years. He has served as in-house legal counsel for several local corporations (most recently Grove Worldwide, now Manitowoc Crane, where he handled the acquisition and sale of businesses, commercial sales, and secured lending) and as an attorney-advisor for the US Army at Letterkenny Army Depot where he concentrated in environmental law. Ed practices business and corporate law, estate planning, land use/zoning and real estate, and is a licensed Pennsylvania Title Insurance Agent. Ed holds a BS (with a finance concentration) from the University of Virginia and a JD from Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, where he served as Operations Editor for William & Mary Law Review. He is an Elder at Greencastle Presbyterian Church, Chairman of Greencastle Planning Commission, member of the Greencastle-Antrim Education Foundation, Secretary of Greencastle-Antrim Old Home Week Association, a member and past president of Greencastle Rotary Club, member of the Board of Directors of Cedar Hill Cemetery Association, and Vice President of the Lilian S. Besore Memorial Library Board of Directors. In addition, Ed is an adjunct lecturer in business law at the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Ed and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters.
