Matthew M. Williams is an associate of the firm of Dukes, Dukes, Keating & Faneca, P.A. and is located in their Gulfport, Mississippi office. A native of Pascagoula and current resident of Ocean Springs, Matthew has remained a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Matthew completed his undergraduate work at the University of Mississippi in 2004, receiving Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Journalism, with an emphasis on Public Relations. Later, Matthew obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law in 2007 where he was active in various student organizations, serving two terms as an associate justice on the Honor Court and one term as the student body elections commissioner.
Since associating with the firm in 2008, Matthew’s areas of practice include Premises Liability, Products Liability, Transportation and Trucking liability, Liquor Liability, Medical Malpractice, Hospital Liability, Municipal Liability under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act, Construction Defects (commercial and residential), and OSHA Compliance.
Matthew’s professional memberships include the Mississippi Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, the Jackson County Bar Association, the Harrison County Bar Association, and the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association, where he served as Treasurer in 2009-2010.
Prior to associating with Dukes, Dukes, Keating & Faneca, P.A., Matthew was an associate with the firm of McGehee, McGehee & Torrey in Meadville, Mississippi, serving also as Board Attorney for the Town of Bude, Mississippi.
Matthew is married to the former Ann Scarbrough of Natchez, Mississippi. They reside in Ocean Springs, and attend St. John’s Episcopal Church.
