Jon Williams is a partner with PilieroMazza PLLC. Mr. Williams practices in the areas of government contracts, corporate matters, and telecommunications law. He assists clients with all aspects of doing business with the government, including compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and navigating the complex rules governing small business procurement programs. He drafts and reviews teaming agreements and subcontracts, has established numerous joint ventures and mentor/protégé relationships, assists with mergers and acquisitions involving contractors, and prepares and pursues requests for equitable adjustment and certified claims. Mr. Williams also counsels contractors regarding False Claims Act violations, suspensions and debarments, and decertification from SBA procurement programs.
The primary focus of Mr. Williams’ practice is the federal procurement programs for small businesses, including the SBA’s 8(a), HUBZone, SDVO SBC, and WOSB programs, as well as the programs for veteran-owned firms through the Department of Veterans Affairs. He regularly assists clients with issues affecting eligibility for these programs, including counseling clients on the regulatory requirements, conducting internal compliance investigations, and developing strategies to obtain and maintain eligibility.
