Kandace Majoros is originally from Seattle, Washington. Prior to co-founding Majoros Steele-Idem LLC, Kandace worked in a domestic relations courtroom in Fort Collins and was a partner with the law firm of Perkins Coie Brown & Bain P.A. in Phoenix, Arizona. Her practice consisted of representing employers before state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative agencies on matters and disputes involving all aspects of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, sexual harassment, and labor relations. She has been extensively involved in management counseling and training and represented employers around the country in a broad spectrum of businesses from the newspaper, health care, and communication industries to sports arenas and teams, hotels and resorts, and manufacturing and retail companies. Before joining Perkins Coie Brown & Bain, Kandace practiced in the areas of employment law and litigation with Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges in San Francisco, California.
Kandace received her law degree in 1991 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was Associate Managing Editor of the Hastings Law Journal, and her undergraduate degree in 1982 from the University of Washington. Kandace has frequently spoken on labor and employment issues and contributed articles to several notable publications. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, Arizona and California.
Kandace and her husband moved their two boys and two dogs from Phoenix to Fort Collins in 2006. They are avid skiers and love camping, traveling, sports, and dessert. Kandace believes strongly in the importance of volunteerism and has actively supported several nonprofit organizations, most notably SAINT (Senior Alternatives in Transportation) in Fort Collins, her boys' school and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Arizona Chapter, where she served on the Board of Trustees for seven years.
