In 2008, Chris began clerking at Hinkle, Jachimowicz, Pointer & Emanuel while attending the Santa Clara University and pursuing his J.D. While earning his graduate degree Chris gained significant experience researching and writing motions, completing discovery, civil procedure, and becoming familiar with employment law, ERISA law, and insurance bad-faith. In 2012, Chris became licensed to practice law in the State of California and the Northern District of California.
Chris has the professional, work-related experience few lawyers have to empathize with employees, as well as understand corporate culture and business practices. Since 2008, Chris has continuously built his legal experience so that he could make a seemless transition into the law.
Today, Chris assists employees in wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination (disability, race, age, gender), and harassment matters, as well as wage and hour claims for overtime and unpaid wages. Chris also assists employees in regaining the employment-related benefits denied to them, such as long term disability benefits promised by an employer's welfare plan.
