Barrys practice covers a broad range of commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on creditors rights. For over twenty years Barry has represented creditors, bankruptcy trustees and creditors committees in all aspects of bankruptcy litigation and reorganization cases. These cases have often involved complex, multi-party lawsuits involving leveraged buy-outs, fraudulent conveyances, preferences or collateral priorities. Barrys practice in courts other than bankruptcy often involves many of the same type of issues that arise in bankruptcy. For example, he has represented a number of oilfield equipment and supply companies in a variety of matters, including the foreclosure of oil and gas liens.

Barrys practice is not limited to litigation. He also provides legal counsel and guidance to other members of the firm on finance, securitization and collateralization issues on a wide variety of commercial transactions.
