Ric Macchiaroli's practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation before the United States International Trade Commission and federal district courts, with an emphasis on patent-related Section 337 investigations.

Ric has been involved in numerous Section 337 investigations and has experience in many aspects of those proceedings, including domestic and foreign discovery, motions and trial practice, ITC review, advisory opinion proceedings, and bond forfeiture proceedings.

Ric has represented complainants and respondents before the ITC and has experience with a wide variety of technologies, including semiconductor packaging, application specific integrated circuits, mechanically locking floor panels, laser bar code scanners, and electronic switches.
