Adam Wiers is a litigator with a broad base of experience. He focuses on commercial disputes, in particular breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and consumer fraud class actions. Adam has experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial, class certification, mediation, and arbitration. He was recently named as one of 30 "Future Stars" of Chicago litigation by Benchmark Litigation in its "Definitive Guide to America's Leading Litigation Firms & Attorneys."

Adam has twice gone to trial, receiving complete defense verdicts both times. He also has successfully argued numerous dispositive motions.  For instance, recently he successfully briefed and argued a motion to dismiss a large putative consumer fraud class action in the Northern District of Illinois. He also recently successfully briefed and argued a motion for summary judgment in the District of Massachusetts, which he later successfully defended on appeal in the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Additional accomplishments include: prevailing on a motion to dismiss with prejudice on behalf of The Morton Arboretum, where the decision was affirmed on appeal in Stahelin v. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, et al., 877 N.E.2d 1121 (Ill. App. Ct. 2007); prevailing on summary judgment in defense of Safelite Auto Glass in a claim for violations of various consumer fraud acts and the Lanham Act (Diamond Triumph Auto Glass v. Safelite Glass Corp., 441 F. Supp. 2d 695 (M.D. Pa. 2006)); and twice defeating motions for class certification in a large putative Consumer Fraud Act class action.
