Brian's concentration is on the defense of medical malpractice cases. He is the author of several articles on medical-legal issues, including the Tort Reform Act and Alternative Dispute Resolution, published in the Michigan Bar Journal.

Brian has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice defense in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.  He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Brian has the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethics by Martindale Hubble: AV^® Preeminent^™ 5.0 out of 5.

Brian is a frequent speaker to healthcare practitioners on topics related to medical malpractice litigation. Presentations are provided without charge to medical groups in Michigan. Featured speaker on Medical Malpractice Tort Reform at Annual Meeting of the Michigan State Bar in Grand Rapids in 1994.
