Martha J. Widdows-Witham is an attorney and shareholder of the Firm. She is a native of Almont, Michigan. She received her B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University in 1996. In 2000 she received her law degree from Michigan State University - Detroit College of Law, Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the Michigan Bar. Martha joined the Firm in November 2000.
Martha graduated from MSU/DCL with a concentration in taxation. Along with her work in the area of tax law, while in law school, Martha served as an oralist and active member of the Moot Court Board. During her tenure on the Board, Martha competed in appellate oral argument competitions in both New York and California handling arguments in both the area of copyright law and employment law.
Martha's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, employment law, probate/probate litigation, guardianship, conservatorship, adoption, family law/domestic relations and creditor's rights.
Martha is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Calhoun County Bar Association. Martha is also a member of the Calhoun County Estate Planners and serves as member of the Charitable Union Board.
Martha, her husband Patrick and their 2 sons reside in Battle Creek.
