RICHARD F. WHIPPLE, JR., was born in Elmira, New York on February 20, 1939. He is a veteran of the United states Air Force and served three years as a staff judge advocate. He graduated from Lycoming College in 1962 and graduated from Albany Law School in 1964. Mr. Whipple was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1964 and began his law career in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1968 attaining the rank as a Captain. He took a position on the legal staff of Brandt and Laughlin in January, 1969. He served 25 years as a Town of Pomfret Justice. He served in the Fredonia Kiwanis Club at various positions including its President and also as a director of the Annual Farm Festival event. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Chautauqua Bar Association.
