Dr. Chastity Diane Shaffer Whitaker is an Associate with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all areas of the firm's practice. Her expertise is concentrated in the areas of Biotech, Chemical and Mechanical technologies and instruments. She joined Wood, Herron, and Evans as an associate and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2007.
Chastity graduated magna cum laude from Bridgewater College of Virginia in Chemistry and Biology. She then obtained an MS (2003) and a PhD (2004) from The Ohio State University in Biophysics, specializing in Biological Spectroscopy and Imaging. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2007.
Presently, Chastity lives in Dayton, Ohio with her husband, Matthew, and son, Caleb.
