Amber Whipkey is a staff attorney in the Securities Department, and a member of the Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2011.
Practice
Ms. Whipkey focuses her practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, she works with other attorneys, litigation technology project managers and paralegals on teams that manage electronic and other documents in large cases and investigations. Ms. Whipkey's e-discovery experience includes systematically tracking documents from preservation to collection; working with e-discovery vendors and their review and analytical tools; training and overseeing other firm and contract attorneys and partnering with project managers to perform production quality control.
Ms. Whipkey has extensive experience with document review related to antitrust litigation, corporate securities, patent prosecution and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she has significant experience with complex privilege review. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Whipkey's experience includes her positions of economics assistant for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Department of Labor and associate counsel at Mendes & Mount LLP in New York City.
