John White's practice is concentrated in the areas of structured finance and federal securities laws. He has represented issuers, underwriters, and trustees in public and private securitization transactions, including cash flow and synthetic CDOs, and banks in asset-backed commercial paper conduit transactions. Recently, he has worked on a number of innovative commercial real estate CDO transactions. In connection with the foregoing, he has negotiated ISDA schedules, credit support annexes, and confirmations relating to credit default swaps and interest rate caps and swaps. Prior to entering private practice, John was a staff attorney in the structured finance and new products group of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Corporation Finance in Washington, D.C.
