Attorney Lovett is an associate member of WealthCounsel, a renowned national organization dedicated to the practice of estate planning. As such Mr. Lovett has access to top-caliber document drafting software, other member attorneys across the country, and a wealth of articles and other publications pertaining to the latest interpretations and changes in all laws relating to estate planning.

Since Attorney Lovett is fluent in Mandarin, conversation in Cantonese, and reads and writes Chinese, as sub-focus of his estate planning practice is in serving Chinese-speaking clients.

Prior to becoming associate with Attorney Pellegrini, Mr. Lovett has a solo law practice in which he assisted clients in negotiating, drafting, and revising commercial agreements; in real estate transactions; and in matters involving unemployment insurance.

Prior to venturing into his solo practice, Attorney Lovett was a Review Examiner with the Division of Unemployment Assistance, where he advised the Board of Review of that state agency on the merits of appeals from administrative hearings. He drafted decisions and remand orders on the Board's behalf.

Mr. Lovett was also previously employed in the legal department of an internet infrastructure company, negotiating, drafting and revising complex technology and connectivity agreements with major telecommunications carriers, hosting companies, software vendors and equipment manufacturers.

Upon graduating from law school, Attorney Lovett was associated with Bingam, Dana & Gould (now Bingham McCutchen), a large corporate law firm in Boston. He worked on bank loans, public corporate and limited partnership formation.

Attorney Lovett obtained his Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in psychology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In his final year at UMass he participated in an academic year-long exchange program at Beijing Normal University, where he studied Mandarin. Mr. Lovett also spent a summer during law school as a guest student at the University of Hong Kong, learning legal translation and Cantonese.
