Mr. Westcott has over 30 years of experience as a corporate and securities lawyer, serving as counsel for a broad range of private and public clients. The emphasis of his practice has been counseling corporate clients and their management on financing, governance and transactional matters, including private and public offerings, licensing transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

As a former assistant managing partner of WilmerHale, Mr. Westcott was involved in the daily management of the firm's business and professional affairs. He is a member of WilmerHale's Management Committee and a manager of the firm's subsidiary, Silver Bridge Advisors, a registered investment adviser that oversees the management of over $1.5 billion for the firm's clients.

Mr. Westcott has participated in a number of national panels concerning the business and professional management of law firms and has spoken and written frequently on law firm management and partner compensation.
Honors and Awards
Mr. Westcott was recognized in the November 2004 edition of Boston Magazine as a "Massachusetts Super Lawyer" in business law.
Community Involvement
Mr. Westcott has been a trustee and clerk of The Winsor School, an independent school for girls in Boston, since 1989.
