Mr. Loos' practice has an emphasis on transactions associated with the sale, purchase, development and financing of real estate. His work includes negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions; providing legal services associated with leasing and management of real estate assets; structuring asset based financings; and negotiating and restructuring mortgage loan workouts.

Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Mr. Loos was the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-HUD/FHA Agency's transaction/litigation counsel responsible for project development, asset management, negotiating and restructuring defaulted loans in preparation of workout agreements, and analysis of Urban Development Action Grants and Community Development Grants.
