Geoff Long joined Dickstein Shapiro in 2004. Mr. Long is an associate in the Insurance Coverage Practice and focuses his practice on insurance coverage disputes and other complex litigation. He has represented corporate policyholders in civil actions and other dispute resolution proceedings involving a wide range of commercial insurance issues, including catastrophic property losses, bodily injury liabilities, directors and officers liabilities, and malicious prosecution claims. Mr. Long's representation has encompassed the full course of civil litigation, including discovery, motions practice, settlement, two federal trials, and appeals. In addition to his insurance work, Mr. Long has represented clients in CERCLA cost recovery actions, state attorney general investigations, and proposed federal rulemaking proceedings. He also has assisted pro bono clients in a diverse range of matters involving adoptions, nonprofit incorporation, disability benefits claims, asylum proceedings, and international human rights issues.
