Robert was born and raised in Lancaster County, and graduated magna cum laude from West Chester University in 1982 and the Dickinson School of Law in 1985. Robert served as a Captain on active duty in the United States Army where he was a prosecutor for the Judge Advocate Generals Corp in Germany. He later served in the U.S. Army Trial Defense Service and defended soldiers in Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey. He was subsequently assigned to the Defense Appellate Division in Washington D.C. where he served as Appellate Counsel for soldiers in criminal appeals before returning to Lancaster in 1990. Robert Wee has practiced criminal law exclusively for over 25 years. Robert is a member of the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations as well as the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1985 and is admitted to practice before all State Courts of Pennsylvania, the Middle and Eastern Federal District Courts of Pennsylvania, the Military Court of Review, the Court of Military Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Robert is a Past President of the Lancaster Bar Association, a Court-appointed Chairman of the Lancaster Arbitration Panel, and previously served as one of Lancaster’s representatives to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and on the Board of Directors for MidPenn Legal Services. Robert has also taught trial advocacy as an adjunct professor for the Widener University School of Law.
