R. Benjamin Lingle is an associate in the litigation department of the firm. He was raised in Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Lingle attended Georgia Southern University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
Mr. Lingle received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2011, graduating cum laude. He is a member of the Order of the Coif. While at the University of Florida, Mr. Lingle served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Florida Law Review. He has authored and co-authored articles in the Florida Law Review, the Florida Bar Journal, and the Seagrant Law and Policy Journal on topics ranging from environmental and agricultural law to the effects of the post-kelo eminent domain reforms on historic preservation. Mr. Lingle has worked as a legal researcher at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences’ Agricultural Law Center and has a certificate in environmental and land use law.
Mr. Lingle is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Savannah Bar Association.
