Jameson was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. His father is the Band Director and his mother is the Librarian at Permian High School. Jameson attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelors degree in Government with a minor in business in 2008. He immediately enrolled at the University of Houston Law Center. While at law school, Jameson took an interest in bankruptcy law. He participated in Moot Court Competitions and won the prestigious Duberstein Moot Court Competition conducted through the American Bankruptcy Institute. He also participated in and won the Texas Young Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition. He served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Jeff Bohm, United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of Texas, the Honorable Jennifer Elrod, Judge on the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Honorable Michael Massengale, Justice of the First Court of Appeals of Texas, and the Honorable Calvin Botley, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Texas. He also clerked for the firm of a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee as well as a busy litigation firm in downtown Houston while in law school. Jameson practices commercial bankruptcy law. Jameson is married to an engineer with an oil and gas company here in Houston, and enjoys camping and traveling with his wife in their free time.
