In addition, Michael has served as general corporate and business counsel on a wide array of business matters, including the negotiation of product sales and supply contracts for a variety of manufacturers and customers; employment agreement negotiation on behalf of both employers and executives/key employees; and negotiation of joint ventures.
Michael was named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics. Born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, Michael received his B.A. in history with honors from the University of Chicago. He received his law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was executive editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. He joined Briggs in 1999.
