Mr. Lindemann is a patent agent with Lathrop & Gage, preparing and prosecuting patent applications in fields such as semiconductor devices, optical devices, novel materials, manufacturing processes and techniques, consumer electronics, industrial instrumentation and control systems, sports equipment and gaming systems.

Mr. Lindemann has 25 years of industry experience in the semiconductor and optoelectronic fields. His work in engineering and management roles for Intel, Motorola, National Semiconductor, and Vitesse Semiconductor supported product lines such as dynamic and static RAMs, EPROM and EEPROM memories, programmable logic devices and digital and mixed signal ASICs, in silicon and GaAs technologies. He supported design, development and high-speed characterization of Si, GaAs, and InGaAs/InP photodetectors at Cielo Communications and holds three U.S. Patents in the field of high speed photodetectors.

His industry experience spans the disciplines of process and device engineering, fabrication methods and materials, novel devices, process equipment, surface analysis tools, process integration, yield enhancement and modeling, failure analysis, statistics, data mining, defect reduction, parametric and functional test, optical metrology and electronic and optical packaging, including light coupling to and from optical fiber. His patent prosecution experience with Lathrop and Gage includes preparation of approximately 35 patent applications and 140 Responses to Office Actions, Written Opinions and/or Instructions for Foreign Associates.
