Stephen E. Lewis has practiced law since 1969. Mr. Lewis represents individuals, small businesses, and larger corporate clients in a variety of legal issues. His legal services focus on general corporate and commercial activity, creditors rights, estate administration, wills and trusts.
He is involved in major commercial real estate transactions, both from the seller's and buyer's perspective. He also represents clients in banking, construction, the automotive industry, and other business fields. In addition, he regularly administers estate matters and prepares appropriate inheritance tax and transfer documents.
Mr. Lewis has taught real estate courses at Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, and has taught at Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum seminars, presented and written for National Business Institute Continuing Education programs, and continues to be a featured speaker on estate, trust and guardianship issues.
On a personal note, Stephen has been involved in congregational activities at his church, has served as Chairman of the Board for Concordia Lutheran High School and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Concordia Education Foundation. The president of Valparaiso University has appointed Stephen to serve on the Valparaiso University Law School National Council which provides alumni input and oversight for the Valparaiso University School of Law School administration and faculty.
