Don Lewinski is a member of the professional liability department where he focuses his practice on the defense of brokers, broker-dealers, investment firms, lawyers and other professionals in professional negligence claims and suits brought against them.
Prior to working at Marshall Dennehey, Don worked for another Pittsburgh law firm where he represented all types of businesses and individuals in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of commercial and corporate litigation matters. During that time, he represented parties from all sides in contract, UCC, commerce, business torts, employment, real estate, securities, trade secrets, shareholder disputes, workouts, bankruptcy proceedings, and other business related disputes.
Don obtained his B.A. in political science in 2001, and his M.B.A. in 2003, at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. He then went onto attend Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he received his J.D. in 2009, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Don received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Antitrust, and also served as Executive Editor for the Duquesne University School of Law Business Law Journal.
