Kelly Wallace joined the Firm in 2003. He has a commercial litigation and transactional practice that includes substantial experience on technology and Internet issues. Wallace has prosecuted and defended cases involving, among other areas, computer trespass and abuse claims, copyright and trademark infringement claims, licensing disputes, and business defamation claims. He represents a wide variety of individual and corporate Clients in voluntary and court-ordered mediations and AAA arbitrations. Wallace has also served as a liaison with state and federal government agencies and law enforcement in complex computer trespass and abuse matters. His transactional practice includes entity formation and organization, drafting of services and employment agreements, contract drafting support for Clients in complex business negotiations, and registration of Client copyrights and trademarks.
Wallace received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 and 2003, respectively. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Wallace served on the Editorial Board of the Mercer Law Review. Wallace also served as a Summer Law Clerk for Georgia Supreme Court Justice Hugh P. Thompson in 2002. Wallace is a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. He advised and assisted Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue's office in drafting Georgia's 2005 "Slam Spam" Act (SB 62)..
