Walton, Teresa

For more than 27 years Bob Walker has tried cases and represented clients in federal and state courts across the United States, defending and prosecuting claims against individuals, private and public corporations, and public entities. Bob's broad range of experience handling cases at both the trial and appellate levels encompasses product liability, commercial law, trade secrets, insurance coverage, real estate, ERISA, OSHA, environmental, and wrongful discharge matters. He has particular experience in class action and other complex litigation, including claims under the Alien Tort Claims Act.

Bob recently prevailed in an evidentiary hearing and obtained a TRO stopping Developers Diversified from being terminated "for cause" as manager of 50 properties across the country; headed Timken's trial team that won a jury trial against Bosch, recovering all the monetary and injunctive relief Timken had prayed for in the complaint; successfully arbitrated claims on behalf of Goodrich Corp. against a major defense contractor; litigated and settled the VEBA retiree benefit class action brought against Goodyear; and prevailed at the trial court level and on appeal in a lead poisoning case on behalf of The Sherwin-Williams Company.

Bob is the Trial Practice's office coordinator for the Cleveland Office. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Lawyers Committee of the National Center for State Courts.
