Jillian Smith Leslie, a Harnett County native, received a Master’s of Business Administration and Bachelor of Trust Administration from Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business in 2008 and her J.D. from The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2011. She is licensed in the State Court of North Carolina.
While in the Business School, her honors included the Ogbrum Lundie Calvin & Mamie Avery Byrd Scholarship and the Betty Scholarship. She was active in the Adam Smith Club, Epsilon Pi Eta, Phi Alpha Delta, honor society and was an active Varsity Cheerleader.
While in law school, Jill participated in the Kilpatrick Stockton 1L Trial Competition, the Richard A. Lord Moot Court Competition; and the Campbell Law Negotiation Competition. She was a member of the law fraternity, Delta Theta Phi. She also was a member of International Business Law Club where she served as Government Liaison, Intellectual Property Law Club, Environmental Law Society, Women in Law, and the Campbell Law Innocence Project Study. Jillian also did a Study Abroad through the Miami Law School International Civil Dispute Resolution in London England during the summer of 2009.
Her internships included the firm of McGeachy, Hudson, & Zuravel in Fayetteville, NC; Fred Smith Company, legal division, in Raleigh, NC, Progress Energy, legal division, in Raleigh, NC, and the Wake County District Attorney’s Office.
Jillian’s legal career began in private practice when she joined Charlene Edwards Law Office in October, 2011. Her primary areas of concentration are criminal and traffic law, family law, juvenile law, personal injury law, social security disability and business law. Jillian is currently a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, The Eleventh-A Judicial District Bar Association, the Harnett County Bar Association, and the Lillington Young Professionals.
