Brian Wacker is an associate practicing in the firm’s litigation group. His practice primarily focuses in business, commercial and construction litigation, successfully pursuing and defending claims on behalf of a wide variety of clients. He recently second-chaired a jury trial to verdict in Pike County, Missouri, obtaining a judgment in excess of $150,00.00, including a verdict for punitive damages. Mr. Wacker also has substantial experience practicing in the firm’s asbestos and toxic tort defense groups.
Mr. Wacker received his Juris Doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2009. He graduated with distinction from the White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas with degrees in News & Information Journalism and Strategic Communications in 2006. His international education includes a semester in Paderno del Grappa, Italy with the Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis, and a semester studying European Union law in Berlin, Germany at Ruhr University-Bochum.
While in law school, Mr. Wacker was an editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, held a judicial clerkship under the Honorable Michael Burton in the Saint Louis County Family Court and served as President of the American Constitution Society.
Mr. Wacker currently serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Cornerstone Center for Early Learning and on the Junior Executive Board for the non-profit Team Activities for Special Kids. He has also served as an Honoree for the Gateway Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Corporate Achievers Campaign. He is also a licensed ordained minister in the state of Missouri.
