Ms. Vulpio is counsel in the Business Department and a member of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Group. She focuses on debtor and creditor representation and bankruptcy appellate work.
Ms. Vulpio represents creditors in diverse industries who require assistance in obtaining relief from the automatic stay, preparing and defending proofs of claim, responding to various motions and adversary complaints (including preference and fraudulent conveyance actions), and otherwise asserting their rights in bankruptcy court. Ms. Vulpio also has broad experience with debtor representation, including preparing bankruptcy petitions, statements, and schedules, filing and prosecuting claims objections, and prosecuting preference and fraudulent conveyance actions. In the bankruptcy appellate context, Ms. Vulpio prepares appellate briefs and prosecutes appeals on a variety of bankruptcy-related topics. Additionally, Ms. Vulpio is the co-author of The Nineties Are Over: Mechanisms for Attacking Claims of Highly Compensated Employees and Litigating Insurance Coverage Disputes in Bankruptcy Cases.
Ms. Vulpio received her B.A., cum laude, from Williams College in 1996 and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999. Ms. Vulpio is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is a member of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference.Honolulu Law Lawyer |
