Alexander Volchegursky is one of the founding partners of Lvovich, Volchegursky & Szucsko, LLP (formerly Lvovich & Volchegursky, LLP), specializing primarily in business transactional matters and corporate finance. Mr. Volchegursky's practice involves representation of business clients in connection with business entity choice and formation, limitation of liability, taxation, operation, contractual obligations, financing, acquisitions and sales, licensing, compliance with state regulations, and relations with employees, suppliers, and customers.
In addition, Mr. Volchegursky also has a significant amount of litigation experience, having handled a number of business disputes, from origination of claim to either trial or settlement. He has represented a wide array of companies and individuals in the areas of commercial law, contract disputes, trademark, patent, and other disputes. Mr. Volchegursky has appeared in both state and federal courts throughout California.
Mr. Volchegursky received his J.D. at University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2000, concentrating his studies in corporate law. In 1998, he completed an internship at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in Vienna, Austria. He received his undergraduate degree, with Honors, from University of California, Berkeley in 1996 with a double degree in Economics and History.
Mr. Volchegursky's legal practice began at Georgopoulos, Pahlavan & Prince, LLP, in the areas of private financing and mergers & acquisitions, and continued at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, and then at Georgopoulos & Economidis, where he focused on corporate finance and general corporate matters, as well as trademark and patent litigation.
Mr. Volchegursky is a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, San Francisco Bar Association, and California State Bar. He also served as a member at large of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Relations Council from 2003 to 2010.
