Vo, Amy M.

Tara G. LeCompte is the managing partner of MacVaugh and LeCompte. She represents clients in criminal, serious and minor traffic cases, before the Office of Administrative Hearings and practices plaintiffs personal injury law in the State of Maryland.

In 2001, Ms. LeCompte was a judicial intern for the Honorable Kathleen O'Ferrall Friedman, Circuit Court for Baltimore City, while Judge Friedman was handling the domestic docket. Ms. LeCompte decided to focus on a legal career in family law. She was a student-mediator with the Brockton District Court family services division during her final year of law school. In 2003, Ms. LeCompte began her legal career as an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Irvin J. Brodsky, Chartered practicing family law.

In 2004, Ms. LeCompte began collaborating with Edwin S. MacVaugh. Mr. MacVaugh established his criminal defense firm in 1991. During this collaboration Ms. LeCompte discovered that criminal defense law was her true passion.

In 200S, Ms. LeCompte joined Mr. MacVaugh's firm as an associate attorney. Then in 2007, the firm became known as MacVAUGH & LeCOMPTE.
