Michael joined Givens Pursley following a clerkship with the Honorable Karen Lansing of the Idaho Court of Appeals. While in law school, Michael clerked with the Bonneville Power Administration Office of General Counsel, Fish and Wildlife Division. In 2005 he was the first-place winner in the American Indian Writing Competition for his article "Damming Rivers, Damning Cultures" published in Am. Indian L. Rev., Vol. 30. No.1. (Fall 2005).
Michael’s practice focuses primarily on land use, water and natural resources.
