Vex, Howard A.

Raquel joined the firm in 2008 as an associate in the business law and real estate departments after clerking with the firm during law school. Her practice now includes the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, business sales and mergers, contract preparation, commercial leasing, and residential real estate.

Raquel graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2000 with a B.A. in psychology and a concentration in computer science. Before continuing on to law school, Raquel obtained her paralegal certificate from Monroe Community College and worked as a paralegal for a general practice law firm in Rochester. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2008.

While at law school, Raquel was Associate Editor of the Labor Lawyer law journal and participated in the Gabrielli National Moot Court Competition. She was also a student attorney in the school's Securities Arbitration and Consumer Law Clinic.

Raquel grew up in Chili, New York and now lives in Perinton with her husband Christian. She volunteers with Full Circle Home, serves as a board member and co-chair of Youth As Resources, and is a member of Rochester Women's Network.
