Michael J. Vassalotti is a partner with the firm. He concentrates his practice in complex litigation including defense of tobacco related products liability claims, prosecution and defense of environmental actions, defense of consumer fraud and mass tort class actions, defense and prosecution of significant personal injury, product liability, and commercial matters.
Mr. Vassalotti has been certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey since 1991. He presently represents organizations, such as the American Red Cross, Carpenter Technology Corporation, ITT Corporation, ITT Sheraton Corporation, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Philip Morris Incorporated, and Rexall Sundown, Inc.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in 1972 from Rutgers College, Mr. Vassalotti received his law degree, with high honors, from Rutgers University School of Law in 1975. From 1975 to 1976, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Cooper Brown of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Camden County.
Mr. Vassalotti was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1975. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Presently, Mr. Vassalotti serves as co-chair for the Camden County Environmental Law Committee and is a member of the American, New Jersey, and Camden County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey.
Mr. Vassalotti was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1950.
