Ms. Lasky joined Laner, Muchin, Dombrow, Becker, Levin and Tominberg, Ltd. in 2000 and concentrates her practice in employee benefits law, with an emphasis on welfare benefit issues. She has extensive experience working with welfare plans of all sizes and types (multi-employer and single employer, insured and self-insured, wrap and single benefit plans, wellness benefits, employee assistant programs, flexible spending accounts, Health Savings Accounts, and Health Reimbursement Arrangements). She advises clients regarding all areas of plan design, technical compliance, administration, and fiduciary issues, and frequently negotiates service provider contracts. Her expertise includes Health Care Reform, COBRA, HIPAA privacy, portability, and nondiscrimination, Medicare Part D, claims procedures, qualified medical child support order procedures, retiree medical benefits, domestic partner benefits, and all related tax issues.
Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Lasky served as a judicial law clerk first to the Honorable Stephen F. Eilperin of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and then to the Honorable John F. Grady of the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
