Court VanTassell joined the litigation section of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, L.L.C. in 2011.
Mr. VanTassell is a native of Granite Bay, California. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University in 2004. After serving the U.S. National Park Service as an endangered species restoration biologist, he attended Tulane University Law School.
While at Tulane, Mr. VanTassell was elected to the law school’s Honor Board, he was a member of the Environmental Law Society and he was a senior member of the Tulane Law Review, serving as an Articles Editor in his final year of law school. He was awarded the John E. Parker Scholarship, the Dean’s Scholarship and CALI Awards of Excellence during his tenure at Tulane. Mr. VanTassell received a certificate of specialization in environmental law and graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2011.
Mr. VanTassell is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. His legal practice focuses on commercial litigation and environmental law.
