While attending Harvard Law School, I had the opportunity to work in environmental impact litigation and assist low-income clients in housing disputes. These were richly rewarding experiences and helped strengthen my desire to use the law to help those who might otherwise go unrepresented. After graduation, I wanted to broaden my learning and joined the real estate department of a major Boston firm. Having grown up on a dairy farm in Rutland county, I found myself missing the things that distinguish Vermont—the people, the sense of community, and the Green Mountains.

My experiences have led me to specialize in personal injury, medical and legal malpractice, construction law, and contract claims, as well as real estate law (including Act 250 permitting)—areas where I can continue to bring my knowledge and experience to bear helping others.
