Vazquez, A. Daniel

Michael received his B.A. in History and Political Science from The Ohio State University in 1993 and enrolled at New York Law School later that same year.  While a student, he was selected to be a member of the International and Comparative Law Journal due to his academic performance and was awarded the honor of Outstanding Articles editor in 1996 during his third year of law school.  Michael went on to graduate from NYLS with honors and began working in area of general liability defense, defending personal injury, construction accident and wrongful death claims for such clients as the New York City Transit Authority and the Pyramid shopping mall properties and representing various individual in the same types of cases as plaintiffs.  Michael has approximately ten years of intensive personal injury litigation experience.

While residing in the Albany area, Michel was also fortunate to work for Peter Gerstenzang, Esq. as an associate with Gerstenzang, O'Hern, Hickey & Gerstenzang.  He represented individuals charged with many kinds of vehicular crimes in all phases of criminal prosecutions.  He learned a great deal about the art of criminal defense from one of the most well respected criminal defense attorneys in the State of New York.  Michael was also exposed to family law and divorce cases while with this firm.

Since that time, Michael has branched out into the family law and divorce field while continuing to represent individuals charged with crimes and people who are injured as a result of someone's negligence.  He regularly appears before the Family and Supreme Court Judges in Dutchess, Punam and Westchester Counties representing people in all phases of divorce and family law cases.  Michael has also represented individuals in family law and divorce cases in several other counties throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island as well.
