Leah P. VanLandschoot is the founding member of The Litigation Boutique LLC.
Ms. VanLandschoot is licensed to practice law in Colorado and has experience handling employment and civil litigation matters in state and federal court, as well as before federal and state administrative agencies. Ms. VanLandschoot represents her clients in connection with charges of discrimination and harassment in violation of Title VII, the ADA, and ADEA, claims based on the Colorado Wage Claim Act and claims of wrongful discharge in violation of public policy. Ms. VanLandschoot has successfully litigated matters (for employees and employers) of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, national origin discrimination, race discrimination, and retaliation in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She also spends time counseling clients on non-compete agreements, FMLA issues, FLSA compliance, and employment policies, severance agreements, and hiring practices. In addition, Ms. VanLandschoot handles all matters of business and contract litigation as well as carefully selected personal injury matters. Ms. VanLandschoot has jury trial experience and has worked with juror and trial consultants to obtain the best results for her clients.
Prior to forming The Litigation Boutique LLC, Ms. VanLandschoot worked as an employment and civil litigator at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP and as a general commercial litigator at Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP.
Ms. VanLandschoot earned her undergraduate degree in Art and Business from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, and earned her J.D., with highest honors (Order of St. Ives), from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
In 2010, 2011, and again in 2012, Ms. VanLandschoot was named by 5280 Magazine and Colorado Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of Employment Litigation.
